Casa Miedi is located 1450 ft. above sea level. This slightly higher elevation in the country mountains provides us with cooler evening temperatures and breezes during the summer months. Many of Umbria's most historic towns are within a short drive and ready for you to explore. Assisi, Perugia, Deruta, Passignano Sul Trasimeno and Spello to name just a few.

Wander through cobblestone streets with a gelato in hand. Enjoy a medieval festival, or a village market day, and experience the sights, sounds and tastes of Umbria.

  • “We had the most amazing stay at Casa Miedi! This house is a beautiful place tucked into the hills of Umbria. All of the rooms had plenty of room and were very well equipped with everything you need. We stayed in the room closest to the pool and it was very private and separated from the main house. All of the rooms have their own private entrances. This place is not an Airbnb, it is an all-inclusive stay in one of the amazing private rooms in Casa Miedi. Danielle and Tony are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts I’ve ever met. The tours they took us on were so cool and not places you would normally be able to find on your own. Plus their property has an amazing pool which we spent a lot of time in. Danielle and Tony make you feel like apart of their family! Danielle’s cooking is out of this world, every meal we had was absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to come back again in the future! I wish I could give this property more than 5 stars because it more than exceeded all of our expectations. This was the most relaxing vacation, thank you Danielle and Tony!!”

And each step of the way, Tony and Danielle had thought of it all! Tony and Danielle fell in love with the quiet magic of the Umbria–Tuscany border and poured that love into restoring Casa Miedi, their nearly 300-year-old farmhouse. What they’ve created isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to slow down, savor, and experience Italy the way locals do.
